Great Product
I am very pleased with this hammer and the customer service Tisas provides. After one call to Tisas on the thumb safety removal and watching highly trained professionals on You-Tube university; I was able to install this drop in part in my Tisas Duty 1911. The notches on this hammer match the sear flawlessly and now I can just about build a Tisas 1911 blindfolded. Two keys folks need to know is the hammer must be positioned "cocked" for thumb safety removal and the sear spring goes on the back side of the sear. I am about to test fire my Tisas Duty to see how it performs on paper; as it currently functions it is smoother and just as tight as my Kimber Custom TLE II that I was seen to shoot down a 5.5" tree with at 55yards. This stainless hammer really personalize my Duty 1911 to be noticed as belonging to myself.
