The Aviator is our newest carry sized pistol built using an aluminum frame and forged steel slide for a lightweight, but rugged firearm. The reminiscent form factor has all the features of a classic 1911, but we have added an enhanced set of GI style sights with a brass bead insert in the front for easier target acquisition. The frame comes with a satin aluminum cerakote finish and the slide is done in black with the Army’s Aviation badge engraved in the slide.
Tisas Issued Series 1911 pistols come standard with our premium lockable hard case, two magazines, cleaning kit, bushing wrench, trigger lock and instruction manual.

An Excellent Tribute to Army Aviation
I was an Army Warrant Officer in Operation Desert Storm and carried a full size 1911 flying Chinook Helicopters. I could not pass up a 1911 dedicated to US Army Aviators. I had some initial ejecting issues but after shooting 200 rounds, there are no more issues. This is another quality 1911, and I really love the weight of this gun. 1911 Springfield Ronin 9mm magazines work well with this gun.
