    Zigana K

Posted by Jar on 1st Dec 2023

A new Tisas Zigana "K"ompact arrived this afternoon. It's a 9mm Luger hammer fired "compact" that's about the same size as a full-size Sig P220. It came with two 15 round magazines and the usual suspects. The frame is aluminum alloy with steel slide and hammer forged chrome-lined barrel. Has a manual safety/decocker that fully disconnects the trigger and moves the hammer away from the frame. Sights are white three dot windage adjustable rear. DA trigger pull is long and moderately heavy while the SA is short and crisp with almost immediate reset. Like the 1911s and the Fatih the pistol simply worked. It loaded and fired and ejected any ammo I tried and was just boringly reliable. I'm pretty sure that when they were designing the F & K Zigana line there were a few assembled and disassemble Sig P220 and P226 on the bench because it has a very definite classic Sig P series DA/SA feel. But the price point shares no resemblance with today's Sig line. In all the Zigana K has exceeded my expectations just like my Tisas 1911s and the Fatih.
